I am David, and my passion is discovering affordable wines you do not need to spend a fortune.

My first professional encounter with the world of wines took place nearly 20 years ago when I became responsible for my former employer’s private collection of wines in the wine cellar. There was laying several hundreds of wine bottles, and I was hardly able to recognize the names of the wine varieties. Fortunately, I received an excellent teacher, who introduced me into the endless field of wine tastes and aromas.

And the adventure began – degustation of wines from all over the world, visiting of vineyards and wineries, the discovery of European wine regions and wine styles, etc. Until the point when I decided to transform a hobby into my profession.

For the beginning, I created a collection of wines from the “old world” – mainly from Germany and Spain, while wines from France and Italy are being slowly introduced as well. My intention is not to keep long and fixed wine list, rather refresh it time to time with my recent discoveries.
